Synthesis and spectral properties of ruthenium(II) complexes based on 2,2′-bipyridines modified by a perylene chromophore

Five new 2,2′-bipyridines functionalized with a perylene or a perylenediimide moiety were synthesized and the corresponding heteroleptic ruthenium(II) complexes ([Ru(bpy)₂(L)](PF₆)₂; bpy = 2,2′-bipyridyl, L = perylene-substituted bpy ligand) were prepared. The UV–vis spectra of the ruthenium(II) complexes showed red-shifted and intense absorption bands derived from the conjugated structure of the new ligands.     

Domino reactions in water for the stereoselective synthesis of novel spiro dihydro-2′H-[indene-2,3′-thiophen]-1(3H)-ones with three contiguous stereocenters

The domino reactions of (E)-2-(aryl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-ones and 1,4-dithiane-2,5-diol in the presence of triethylamine in water stereoselectively afforded a library of 2′-(aryl)-4′-hydroxy-4′,5′-dihydro-2′H-spiro[indene-2,3′-thiophen]-1(3H)-ones. This transformation presumably proceeds via the generation of 2-mercaptoacetaldehyde from 1,4-dithiane-2,5-diol followed by Michael addition–intramolecular aldol sequence with C–C and C–S bond formations and creation of three contiguous stereocenters in a one-pot operation.

作为对相伴素理想与幂零相伴素理想的推广,我们在本文中引进了$\Sigma$-相伴素理想的定义,探讨了$\Sigma$-相伴素理想的基本性质,证明了Ore扩张环$R[x;\alpha,\delta]$、斜洛朗多项式环$R[x,x^{-1};\alpha]$及斜幂级数环$R[[x;\alpha]]$的$\Sigma$-相伴素理想都分别可以用环$R$的$\Sigma$-相伴素理想来刻画,从而将相伴素理想与幂零相伴素理想的一些已有结论推广到更一般的情形.

In this paper, we determine the structures of the transfer ideal and its radical ideal for the ring of polynomials F p[x, y] under the action of dihedral group D2 p in the modular case. We mainly use Transfer variety, p order elements, and Hilbert’s Nullstellensatz Theorem.     

Notes on Automorphisms of Prime Rings

Let R be a prime ring, L a noncentral Lie ideal and σ a nontrivial automorphism of R such that usσ(u)ut= 0 for all u ∈ L, where s, t are fixed non-negative integers. If either char R s + t or char R = 0, then R satisfies s4, the standard identity in four variables. We also examine the identity(σ([x, y])-[x, y])n=0 for all x, y ∈ I, where I is a nonzero ideal of R and n is a fixed positive integer. If either char R n or char R = 0, then R is commutative.     

Two lower bounds for the Stanley depth of monomial ideals

Let be two monomial ideals of the polynomial ring . In this paper, we provide two lower bounds for the Stanley depth of . On the one hand, we introduce the notion of lcm number of , denoted by , and prove that the inequality holds. On the other hand, we show that , where denotes the order dimension of the lcm lattice of . We show that I and satisfy Stanley's conjecture, if either the lcm number of I or the order dimension of the lcm lattice of I is small enough. Among other results, we also prove that the Stanley–Reisner ideal of a vertex decomposable simplicial complex satisfies Stanley's conjecture.     

Cohen–Macaulayness and Limit Behavior of Depth for Powers of Cover Ideals

Let 𝕂 be a field, and let R = 𝕂[x ₁,…, x _n ] be the polynomial ring over 𝕂 in n indeterminates x ₁,…, x _n . Let G be a graph with vertex-set {x ₁,…, x _n }, and let J be the cover ideal of G in R. For a given positive integer k, we denote the kth symbolic power and the kth bracket power of J by J ^(k) and J ^[k], respectively. In this paper, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for R/J ^k , R/J ^(k), and R/J ^[k] to be Cohen–Macaulay. We also study the limit behavior of the depths of these rings.     

Segments and Hilbert schemes of points

Using results obtained from a study of homogeneous ideals sharing the same initial ideal with respect to some term order, we prove the singularity of the point corresponding to a segment ideal with respect to a degreverse term order (as, for example, the degrevlex order) in the Hilbert scheme of points in Pⁿ. In this context, we look into the properties of several types of “segment” ideals that we define and compare. This study also leads us to focus on the connections between the shape of generators of Borel ideals and the related Hilbert polynomial, thus providing an algorithm for computing all saturated Borel ideals with a given Hilbert polynomial.
